Listen to me. Do not even let Apollo know that you’re aware of what happened, alright? I don’t want him to panic, to wonder how many people really know. I told him that I was going to cover it up, and that’s what I’m doing; I want to avoid any unnecessary stress on him.

You and I both know that he doesn’t deserve this, and if we have to come down hard on him for one slip-up then Yomiel and I definitely haven’t gotten what we deserve for our crimes.

I… don’t want to go into detail about what caused this. It’s not important. All that matters is that the severity of it pushed him over the edge, and it was more than enough for me to realize that this is getting completely out of hand.

No, I wasn’t the one who hurt him. Ariadne interrupted him and he was distracted, so I tried to get the gun from him and it made her panic. She had this thing on her arm—I think it belonged to Tony Stark—and she shot us with it. I guess that’s probably what hurt him… How is he?

He was… so upset… because there was nothing he could do to make me pay for what I did to Yomiel. I guess he just ran out of options, and thought that it was the only thing left.
I’m well aware of his crimes, and I know how easy it would be for me to get a conviction. My word alone would probably be enough, but I don’t want that. It’s… just as easy for me to cover up this entire incident as it is for me to throw him in jail and get him disbarred.

Maybe he has. But I don’t think he’ll ever resort to something like this again. I’ve only spoken with him once since then—a few text messages—but I can tell that he regrets it. I told him that I was going to cover it, and he didn’t really seem okay with that, but… it’s the least I can do for him.

Promise me that you won’t tell anyone about this, okay? The only people that know aside from the ones involved are you and Julchen, and I trust you two. Yomiel shouldn’t ever find out either.
